SPiN is Shelf Stable - store in a cool, dry space. If using SPiN daily, it can be stored at room temperature to keep it creamy and viscous. If the bucket will not be used for several weeks or months after opening, refrigeration will slow down the natural separation process and will thicken the SPiN in your bucket. A lot of customers prefer refrigerating their product, as this makes portion control consistent.
How long does a batch of fresh SPiN Almond Milk last?
Once you make a new batch of SPiN Almond Milk (SPiN Almond Milk Concentrate + Water), it REQUIRES REFRIGERATION and must be stored in an airtight container. SPiN Almond Milk will remain fresh for up to 3-5 days. If using a fountain circulator to dispense SPiN, it requires emptying the contents every night into an airtight jug for storage in a refrigerator. If this is not done and the fountain circulator is left on overnight, the natural fats in the milk will create a layer of thick foam on the top which is not desirable.
