Cashew Pieces - Halves & Pieces, Organic
Our Cashew Pieces are luxuriously creamy and delicious. We hand-selected these cashews for their quality and high concentration of healthy fats, which makes them excellent for making homemade cashew mylk, cashew cheese, raw frostings, granola, nut butter, and energy bars. Cashew pieces are also great for sprinkling on oatmeal, salads, and yogurt.
Ingredients: Organic Raw Cashews
Allergen Statement: Contains Tree Nuts (Cashews). Packaged in a facility that processes various tree nuts.
Why We Love Cashews
Wilderness Poets Cashews are heavenly sweet and creamy. Native to the tropics, cashews grow on beautiful evergreen trees. Both the nut (after processing), and the "apple" of the cashew are edible. The "apple" is the large fleshy fruit at the top of the nut (see above image). While commonly considered raw, cashews are processed above 115° F in order to safely remove the shell of the nut. Although cashews are deeply satisfying alone, their versatility as an ingredient is unsurpassed by any other nut. Use them to make sauces, dips, raw desserts, or munch on them by the handful.
Benefits
- High in Plant-based Fiber
- Full of B Vitamins, Potassium and Iron
- A Great Source of Healthy Fats
